Authentication and verification is a critical process that is required in many operations. When undertaking transactions, it provides authority, establishes integrity and prevents fraud from being perpetrated. With the introduction of MyKad, high-level authentication and verification is achievable. The card itself acts as a highly secure authentication token, and has embedded in it unique identifiers, including a biometric fingerprint minutae as well as the card holders photograph.

It leverages on the trust established by a government authority, namely Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (“JPN”) and its role in issuing identification to qualified citizens. Tricubes MyKad Authentication application provides organizations with a simple solution to establish identity authentication and verification.

It is able to read the MyKad smartchip and can perform fingerprint biometrics verification. It also provides modules for organization to undertake electronic form filling and workflow integration
